After further troubleshooting it looks as though the issue is actually in my attempt to convert the machine time. I was attempting to have the time converted and saved to the target field of "timestamp". Upon doing this my input basically stalls until I remove this extractor. Is there a particular way I should be extracting time and rewriting the timestamp field?
