I was hoping for some insight or support on this issue. OH WELL..... Today, I implemented my workaround.
I installed Firefox 3.0.19 from oldapps.com over the top of Firefox 3.5.2, then installed the GreaseMonkey add-on, and, finally, updated Firefox to the latest version. GreaseMonkey seems to have all current intended functionality. I hope this work-around helps you!
