This is, in fact, what the logic dictates. :)
Have you tried to check whether the script is effectively oaded into
the iframe? Select "This frame" from the context menu, and then "show
only this frame" or so; then check that the script is enabled for the
page.
Check also whether it is necessary that javascript be enabled for the
iframe; depending on what you are trying to do, this can be the case.
