If what works for most everybody else doesn't work for you then you may have problems with other extensions that you are running. About 2 years ago I found that FireBug was interfering with Iframes in Greasemonkey, but that problem seems to have been fixed.
Create a new profile, install Greasemonkey as the only extensions, and see if the simple test userscript I gave runs on the embedded iframe.
