Hi,

I read that greasemonkey higher than 0.98 should update scripts
automatically but that never happens. I always have to update them
manually. I checked "preference" and there is no option to enable updating
script automatically like the screenshot posted on your website. All I have
under greasemonkey options are Editor, Uninstall and under "Update
checking" there is only a single checkbox that says "Require secure
updates" (the options "Enable automatic update checking for scripts" and
"Automatically install updates when found" in this screenshot are missing
from my installation
http://www.greasespot.net/2012/02/automatic-script-updates-come-to.html) I
tried checking and uncheckingthe "Require secure updates" box which makes
no difference.

I am using greasemonkey 1.4 on Firefox 16.0.2 (but I have experienced this
for all previous FF versions). OS is Ubuntu 12.04.

Thanks in advance for advices and hints.
