There are other rights vested into the armed officers implicitly:-
The right to abuse
The right to humiliate
The right to torture
And the right to rape

Yes, these are part of the parcel whenever such a draconian law vests
so much power to the armed forces.
It becomes impossible for the victims to take any legal recourse in
such cases.

The intervention of armed forces often aggravates the problem,
especially if the officers do not hail from the region concerned.
Take the case of Kashmir. The Indian Security forces are often worse
than terrorists for the communities. This is a primary reason which has
contributed to the alienation of Kashmiris and the development of an
"indigenious" insurgency.

I strongly oppose this sort of legislation which vests so much powers
to the armed forces.
