Bihar woman, 3 kids attacked

In an incidence of brutal violence in Bihar, a woman and her three
children were attacked by her neighbours for being a witch.
Her four-year-old son is dead, while the police still haven't found the attackers.

Devi's alleged powers can't seem to help her now as she struggles for
life. Her 4-year-old son is already dead and the other two children
aren't doing so well either.
They all nearly died when their neighbours attacked them in their sleep, wounding them with sharp weapons.
Brutal incident
They
even gouged out one child's eye. Phoolo's husband - a labourer - was
not in their house when the family was attacked in Madhepura's Mahesua
village on Saturday.
"They attacked my wife with sharp weapons
because they thought she was a witch. They also attacked my children. I
lost my five year old son," said Sambhu Yadav, victim's husband.
"When I entered the house I saw that Phoolo and her children were hurt and bleeding. Sadhu, Radhe, Bikash and Ghanshyam had
attacked the family while they were sleeping," said Siya Devi, victim's sister.
While the police say they are investigating, so far they have made no arrests.
"We
are trying to arrest the accused. They fled after the incident. We will
seize their movable and immovable property," said Anil Kishore Yadav, S
P, Madhepura.
A child criminal, a child's eye gouged out because
his parents didn't agree to vote for someone and now a woman and her
children attacked for being a witch are the three shocking incidents in
just three weeks
Despite the change in government, some things, it seems, never change in Bihar.
