The assumption is that corporates, fascists and people are unable to reach "creative solutions" because they only talk among themselves, and not to each other. Tehelka is supposedly providing the brilliant solution by bringing voices of peoples movements, state actors, corporate actors, film actors and singers together - so by talking "to" each other, they will be able to make "creative solutions." So we can imagine KPS Gill and Varavara Rao will supposedly talk "to" each other about "violence" - while they actually may talk about each other - the former will probably rant about "terrorism" (we *need* "security") while the latter will probably describe state terrorism (sure we do, from you!). And after all the smiles, handshakes and passionate calls for "dialogue" the Shouries, Advanis, Gills, Pawars, and assorted actors can go back to the business...of business, trishuls, sellouts, mass killings and the like, and all will be well again in Laputa. poor tehelka! why, if only capitalists and workers, brahmanoids and dalits, misogynists and women could all have been handed cell phones to talk to each other, this world would have zapped itself into the psychedelic truths of bourgeois peace long time ago. raja..
