Terrorism has a way of coming back to the people in whose name the movement was started. The majority of victims in Punjab were Sikhs. More Muslims have been killed in Kashmir than Hindus. The primary victims of Naxal terrorism are Adivasis, the landless and the poor.
That should debunk the myth that the terrorists somehow represent, or that terrorism is somehow the result of the grievances of the community. None of the terror movements in India are spontaneous uprisings of the people - they are orchestrated from abroad by people and groups with deep pockets and often state patronage.
