Dear all,

The filmscreening at Delhi University was nice. Around 20 students
came. There was an intense discussion on the land question in Kerala,
also on worker vs Dalit, who is a worker etc.

Lady Shriram college is going to have a screening this week as well.

Last week JNUSU(Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union)screened
the documentary They did it as part of the ongoing hungerstrike in
JNU against the administration. Though it was on a short notice,
around 100 students were there. Bijulal gave an excellent introduction
before the movie. He talked of the history of land reforms in Kerala,
the history of land struggles in Kerala, and the exclutionary
practises based on caste system, and the current cotext of
landstruggles in Kerala, across the country and around the world.
There was a long clapping when the movie ended with the the
sloganeering of the children in Chengara. After the movie, we had some
interaction with some of the malayalee community in the campus, and
the response was very positive. They extended their support to
solidarity activities in Delhi and also to do some follow up
activities in JNU.

Also there was some programme in Hyderabad university, but right now I
donot have much details of that. In Delhi, on various levels,
discussions are happening on Chengara.

Regards
Aryan
