Really? and modern?? what kind of discussions take place there in GAndhi's (savarna) raj? discussion how to give an order to parade naked a Dalit woman? how to give an order to a gang rape and murder a Dalit family? How Dalits should adhere to their "karma"? How educated (then of course they are "elite") dalit youth should come back and practse their caste occuppasion? or what modern karma does Gandhi envisage?? Gandhi's self sufficient village is based on the sytem of castes and philosohpy of karma.
