Dear Louisa, Your answer is there in the question itself. Private TV Channels have a single minded objective to commodify anything - be it an accident, a terrorist attack or anything. The whole country exists for the upper middle class. Hence the focus which diners at Taj get vis a vis other occasions.
This is a great tragedy for the country because a good many viewers of tv are from lower middle class. who is bothered about them?
