Here is a landmark article providing us with a live insight into the
changing socio-economic landscape in rural India. It is based on actual
field survey of all Dalit households in two blocks, one in the (less
developed) east and the other in the (more developed) west.
The caption is slightly misleading though. No cause-and-effect relationship,
other than congruence, between "reform" and the "change" has been attempted
to be demonstrated.
