---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Adam Daigian <[email protected]> Date: Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 2:46 AM Subject: surprised by your response To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Hello Anivar, To be perfectly frank, I am quite surprised by your efforts to draw negative attention to Kovalam Multi-Purpose Reef. I'm not sure how much you know about coastal protection, wave dynamics, or the functions of submerged offshore structures so I'll just give you a quick run down and then let you know where we're coming from as a company. I'm not sure if you're crafting the message or just the messenger, but there are few things you should recognize before continuing with your agenda. Coastal Protection is a trillion dollar industry globally and a billion dollar industry in India. Kerala, as we've stated before, has 600km of coastline and 400km have seawalls or breakwaters that are failing miserably. Have you paid any attention to the effect that port construction has had on already severe beach retreat problems for instance? These are serious issues threatening the population and Kovalam Multi-Purpose Reef, weather you choose to believe it or not, is having a tremendous impact in changing coastal protection trends. With the thousands of km of seawalls in India, I haven't noticed anyone objecting to these practices. Do you actually believe this is a better approach to coastal protection? Just so you know, Kovalam Multi-Purpose Reef has produced far more attention than we would have ever guessed. Starting with one video feature, there has been viewership generation in the hundreds of thousands (think close to a million) - brining LOTS of positive attention to Kovalam. In fact, Kovalam Multi-Purpose reef is the most successful artificial reef in the world for both coastal protection and surfing!! This is something that these hundreds and thousands of people AND local gov't around the world CANNOT ignore regardless of what anyone alleges. This isn't just pr mumbo jumbo...this is the reality and it's a very exciting future. I'm not sure if asking for judicial enquiries or challenging gov't officials is just rhetoric to bring more attention to your cause or actually a move you're trying to make. But please know that we are going to encourage any scientific reports or enquiries of any type as more exposure will only help our company and position. You guys are obviously savvy and I respect your aggressive agenda. But considering the fact that you're obviously interested in technology, why would you choose to disregard MPRs and in turn promote the archaic practice of dumping rocks - do you have any idea what people make building seawalls? In retrospect, basically you're taking the time to discourage exciting new technologies that are changing the world and bring negativity to the most popular and exciting artificial reef in the world: This is something you want your name to attached to? These are just a few things to consider in moving forward. If you have any questions feel free to email me or Skype if interested. This message is not meant to be intimidating, I just think it might be helpful for you to have the inside track so you can consider the bigger picture.
