The relatives of the victims of the fake encounters, Rubabuddin, brother of Sohrabuddin, Narmadabai, mother of Tulsiram Prajapati came from Madhya Pradesh and Sabbir Jamal, brother of Sadik Jamal from Bhavnagar joined the dharna to demand the the ouster of Modi and the immediate investigation by CBI into larger Conspiracy of fake encounters. The fathers of Dipesh and Abhishek, the children who were killed in the Asaram Ashram in 2008, also joined the rally to support the relatives of the victims of the fake encounter and also tell the people the denial of justice to them by the Modi Government. Amrish Patel on behalf of the Manch deplored the inaction on the part of CBI which had failed to proceed with the investigation into the larger conspiracy of the fake encounter and had neither arrested the IB Officer Rajinder Kumar nor summoned Amit Shah or Narendra Modi despite the unambiguous disclosure by DG Vanzara and others about their involvement in the Javed-Ishrat case. Speakers expressed their deep disillusionment in the manner in which BJP was trying to push the candidature of Modi though he was prima facie involved in one the most heinous crimes of the last decade.
