Abdul Nasar Maudany is younger than me. The Karnataka Government had argued
that his health problems are due to his age and refused proper health care
for a long time. The Karnataka Government is guity for refusing health care
for a prominent human rights activist of Kerala. It is obvious that his
health has deteriorated. No court has ever proven that Maudany guilty. But
he has spent more than 13 years in jail for no reason. The minimum job the
politicians in this country can assure is proper health care for Maudany.
It is a shame that a political prisoner has to fight in court for a long
time for this basic human and democratic right.
