This time Uma Bharati, whose Bharatiya Janashakti Party was a party pooper
for the saffron camp in 2008 – it wrested 23.4% of the votes – was an ally
and not a threat.

So the 44.9% vote share of the BJP this time is actually down from total
vote share in 2008 - (37.6 + 23.4 =) 61% i.e. by 15.1% points.
Congress is up by 4% points from 32.4% to 36.4%.

In Rajasthan, the BJP has scored a substantial gain - from 34.3% in 2008 to
45.1% in 2013, i.e. a gain of 10.8%.
The Congress has lost from 36.8% to 33% - a loss of 3.8%.

The Congress has performed most disastrously in Delhi. Has been relegated
to the position of a poor third with number of seas in single digit. It has
lost power after 15 years.
But the BJP's rise to power has been foiled by the debutante AAP - only 3
seats short of the BJP, 28 as against 31.
%age vote shares for Delhi are not available in the TOI.

In the meanwhile in Mizoram counting is still on. The Congress has won 32
and is leading in 1 out of total 40. The BJP is absent here.
