Will justice be buried for ever in Modi-raj? That is the question that every Indian should be asking today. It has just been two days since Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister of India and GL Singhal, the protagonist of two of the biggest criminal exposes of recent times that directly indict Narendra Modi, seems to have gotten himself a plush posting. The Gujarat government on Wednesday reinstated suspended IPS officer GL Singhal as the Group Commandant of State Reserve Police at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. GL Singhal is one of the five top police officers who are prime accused in the Ishrat Jahaan chargesheet filed by CBI on July 2, 2013. However, unlike the other police officers, *GL Singhal is the only one to have confessed before the CBI regarding his involvement in the fake encounter* which resulted in the brutal murder of 4 people. Among various admissions in statement (RC BS1/S/2011/0005-CBI,SCB,Mumbai) dated 11.04.2013, *GL Singhal described how he had collected weapons from IB Chief Rajinder Kumar that were to be eventually planted on the bodies*. He (Vanzara) had asked me to collect the weapons and have it delivered to Shri Tarun A Barot, who was at Khodiyar Farm. Therefore, I had gone to the SIB office in the morning at around 10:00 AM with Shri BA Patel, who had come to meet me for some work, *collected the weapons (a AK 56 rifle, ammunitions, magazines, two pistols and its ammunition) from Shri Rajinder Kumar in a bag*, and had given it to Nizam, whom I had called there, to carry and deliver them to Shri Barot at Khodiyar Farm. *Further in his statement, Singhal described how Narendra Modi and Amit Shah had given the go-ahead for the fake encounter.* At around 7 pm on *13.06.2004*, I along with my Reader Shri DH Goswami had reached Bungalow No. 15 to meet Shri Vanzara in my official vehicle. When I and my Reader entered his chamber, Shri DG Vanzara was discussing with Shri Rajinder Kumar and Shri PP Pandey further plan in respect of the persons in custody: Jishan Johar, Amjadali, Javed and Ishrat. I state that the further plan of operation was about their elimination and lodging a FIR about an encounter about it. During this conversation Shri Rajinder Kumar had specifically told Shri Vanzara to get instructions from the Chief Minister about the encounter story being planned, and *Shri Vanzara had said he would do the needful by speaking to both "safed" and "kali" dadhis, the code names respectively that Shri Vanzara had for the Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the MoS (Home) Shri Amit Shah - and these codes were well known in the Crime Branch*.. . . Later, on *14th afternoon* at around 1500 hrs, when I was in my office at Gaikwad Haveli, I had received a call from Shri Vanzara. He had instructed me to meet him at Shahibaug office. Accordingly, I met him at Bungalow No. 15, Duffnala, Shahibaug with my Reader. He had showed me a complaint written in his own handwriting wherein some contents (names, number of rounds etc) were not written. It was pertaining to this case and the story of encounter in the complaint of what was registered later as Ahmedabad City DCB PS I CR No. 8/04. I had voiced my disagreement to Shri Vanzara on reading this draft complaint. My differences were basically on two points. One, the motive in the draft FIR mentioned a plan to kill the Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi; but this was wrong. Since I had interrogated Amjadali, I knew the motive was different. Two, I had serious objections to killing the girl, Ishrat. I had said we let her go, and had promised to ensure that she would not spill the beans about this operation to anyone. Despite my strong objections, Shri Vanzara insisted on keeping the motive involving the Chief Minister and on killing the girl and branding her later as a woman terrorist. *He had told me that this was already discussed with kali dadhi and safed dadhi, and that they wanted it that way.* GL Singhal's own statement shows that he was part of the quadruple murder of Ishrat and co. right from the beginning to the end. Moreover, the tapes that GL Singhal himself submitted to CBI showed how he had stalked a young woman named Mansi Soni and a IAS officer namely Pradeep Sharma on behalf of Amit Shah and his 'Saheb'. In his statement (RC BS1/S/2011/0005-CBI) dated 09.06.2013 before the CBI, GL Singhal states: A pen drive containing 267 call recordings in the month of August - September 2009 (beginning 04.08.2009 and ending 10.09.2009) between me and Shri Amit Shah primarily, barring some between me and Shri AK Sharma, me and Shri Vaishnav (DySP CID Intelligence), and me and Shri Rajendra Asari (then SP Bhavnagar). *These conversations pertain to watching the young woman Mansi Soni at Ahmedabad and watching Shri Pradeep Sharma.* Despite all of Singhal's own admissions, Gujarat Government found it fit to reinstate such an officer back in their ranks. What could be the reason to do this other than shutting up Mr Singhal for ever? We have always maintained that Modi's PM dream was a do or die situation for him. Now that he's become the PM, it seems everything is being done to make sure that there are no hiccups in his next 5 years of PM-hood. The big question is will the victims of such heinous crimes ever get justice in Modi-Raj? We at Jan Sangharsh Manch do pledge that we will keep fighting for the victims come what may. --Read More At: http://www.truthofgujarat.com/gujarat-government-reinstates-gl-singhal-quadruple-murder-accused-snoopgate-protagonist/#more-4800 -- Peace Is Doable -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Green Youth Movement" group.
