about 22 or more women tried to go to shabarimala, the police after intruding into the back history of each women, either declares that they are activists (activists came to create problems, says police and the cpim leaders, especially, devasom minister) or give moral lectures and warns them about the security issues and make them leave (in two cases, two girls have sought police protection, police came to their home and warned the parents, the girls had to move out of their houses in the threat of bjp attack) the back history found by the police are relayed through the channels, there is no privacy / each woman is treated as some intruder or a criminal who comes to violate the peaceful atmosphere of shabarimala. the police even allowed all the bjp goons to stay at sannidhanam and indulge in violence. i am seriously concerned about the so called left parties, cpi is in absolute silence. And govt warns about riot and says police is dealing it tactfully. in my opinion, the stand of govt, which i doubt as double standard, is to appease the hindu lot, especially the nss, (govt approved the upper caste reservations in devasom board, which is against the constitution in the midst of all these happening) will damage the political and social situation in Kerala 1. by succumbing to the threat that bjp will create a riot, they can use this for any cause in kerala. 2. congress and muslim league were against women entry , will ultimately lead to the death of congress as a political party. and facilitate the growth of bjp and eventually to cpim vs BJP. 3. by not protecting women, and not facilitating their entry, there is lot of distress and loss of confidence among the people and it leaves a question, if left cannot protect the constitutional rights, who will dare to do it ?,
