Report of Nandan Nilekani headed Committee, Surface Transport & Highways Ministry mentioned ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Reader) which has been used in London, in a letter to me Dr Richard Stallman informed, "I think ANPR is dangerous too if used without strict controls."
Stallman said, "The UK has implemented ANPR all around the country, and uses it to track all car travel in real time.
