At the end is the speech by Rahul Gandhi. Worth listening to. Has matured a hell lot since the days when he had used the metaphor of Jupiter's gravitational pull in order to describe the difficulties that a Dalit faces to come up in life. Unfortunately, many of the local leaders appear to be more concerned with pleasing him than the general public. To be fair, Harish Rawat - a former Chief Minister, of course, has navigated with remarkable astuteness. So did Pritam Singh - the opposition leader in the state assembly. Two Indias - of the rich and the poor, and the assurance to stand with the latter; promise of "democracy" as opposed to "autocracy"; the commitment to implement the poll manifesto - starkly contrasted with the jumlas of the BJP. These are the main general themes over and above the more topical issues specific to the farmers. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Green Youth Movement" group.
