While the (empty) shell - the massive New Building, will very much be there to symbolise and proclaim the inauguration of "New India" by its Founding Emperor, the essence is surely and steadily being drained out.* It's not just "Hindu-Muslim". * Make no mistake, lights are, eventually, going out*. <<A day after the Lok Sabha Secretariat released a booklet that restricted the use of terms like "jumlajeevi", "baal buddhi’, ‘ashamed’, and ‘abused' among others, calling it 'unparliamentary', the Opposition Thursday hit back and said that the ban was "uncalled for". ... The Lok Sabha secretariat has further listed words like ‘dohra charitra’, ‘nikamma’, ‘nautanki’, ‘dhindora peetna’ and ‘behri sarkar’ as unparliamentary expressions, according to the booklet. Slamming the move, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said, "All words used by the Opposition to describe the reality of Modi Sarkar now to be considered 'unparliamentary'.
