I have a similar problem that may be related. With output format set to
gtex, running xdvi gives these warnings:

xdvi.bin: Warning: Character 10 not defined in font gregorio
xdvi.bin: Warning: Character 52 not defined in font gregorio
xdvi.bin: Warning: Character 53 not defined in font gregorio
xdvi.bin: Warning: Character 48 not defined in font gregorio
xdvi.bin: Warning: Character 49 not defined in font gregorio
xdvi.bin: Warning: Character 106 not defined in font gregorio
xdvi.bin: Warning: Character 105 not defined in font gregorio
xdvi.bin: Warning: Character 9 not defined in font gregorio
xdvi.bin: Warning: Character 11 not defined in font gregorio

The character for the C clef comes out okay, the initial P looks good,
but the rest is all numbers.

I am installing gregorio using dpkg so it may be a completely different
problem to Mr. Martin. All the files should be in the right places
anyway.

Also I don't have any hyphens at all. I'm guessing they should appear
automatically. Such a great idea, I'm looking forward to getting this
working.

Veronica
