This is basically my understanding as well, at least in terms of copyright law in most European countries (a work published by a collective group/unnamed authors enters the public domain 70 years after its publication date). US copyright law formerly, up until the 1970s, released works into the public domain after a much shorter period -- which I think is why you can find some later Solesmes books (like from the 1950s and 1960s) online. But I do think contacting Solesmes themselves would be a good idea anyway, so everything can be clear on what scores can be reproduced. > What do you think about a gabc repository?
