Dear all, Yesterday I did an update to the svn head revision of gregorio, which, using luatex 0.50 (with TeXLive 2009 on ArchLinux), led to my German Breviary being set without accented vowels or umlauts. So I thought I should update the luainputenc, euenc and luaotfload, which I use for linking in my OTF fonts. This made things even worse, for now there are lots of error messages and everything except the gregorio-Fonts won't be loaded. I get a number of LuaTeX error messages that can be found below:
! LuaTeX
error ...e/texmf-dist/tex/luatex/luaotfload/otfl-font-nms.lua:492:
attempt to call field 'readlink' (a nil value).
<to be read again>
! Font \EU2/libertine/m/n/14.4=LinLibertine_Re-4.4.1:+tlig;+kern;+trep;
+onum;+l
iga;+clig;+swsh; at 14.4pt not loadable: metric data not found or bad.
<to be read again>
(I think these two are quite linked, because no database of fonts can be
built; why the font cannot be found I don't know, they are within the
TEXMF tree)
! Missing control sequence inserted.

\inaccessible
l.14 \begin{document}
This third one is quite strange (also because it seemed to have no
effect whatsoever in the past). It shows up about 5 times.
Trying to run mkluatexfontdb.lua results in the following error:
...are/texmf-dist/scripts/luaotfload/mkluatexfontdb.lua:14: module
'alt_getopt' not found:
no field package.preload['alt_getopt']alt_getoptalt_getopt
What can I do about it? As far as I'm convinced, lua itself is
installed, but I don't really know what could be wrong.
Thanks for all help in advance and sorry to bother you all with such a
complex issue!
Yours, David
