Most things look to be in order. I will not have time to make a good
test myself until Monday. I mostly need to rework my own install stuff
to work with the new install process.
One thing I don't know the status of is Scribus. I am fairly sure that
none here use it and I want to make sure that it works fine with the new
`\includescore`. It may be possible for me to get that up and running,
but ~5 years ago when I first tried to use gregorio with Scribus I could
not make it work.
A timeline? It should be possible to make a 3.0.0-rc1 on Monday. This
gives us the weekend to sort out a game plan for a release, then a day
or two for testing the -rc. March 31 seems like a real possibility for
`3.0.0`. If we wanted, we could keep -rc1 "in house" on Github (not post
it on the website, mailing list) as a first test. Gives time to prep the
install instructions, upgrade.md for the website when 3.0.0 is ready.
A Mac installer for 3.0.0 can always be built later and the necessary
script files added to `develop` for the future.
