In order for all the packages to work properly, I will need to create a v4.0.0-beta tag in the repository. Henry has suggested that we not create the 4.0 branch at this time. Does that mean we're going to update the version number and add the tag directly to develop? That strikes me as a bad precedent to set. I'm inclined to create the 4.0 branch and add the beta tag there.
