This is not directly related to releasing beta2 now, but... If we want to make a March 1 release for 4.1, then I think we need to shoot for a feature freeze and rc1 by the 14th of February. This gives us time for rc2 if necessary a week later, and then the deadline hits. As for the things in the 4.1 milestone: - #697 has a pull request - #767 is partially done - #862 is open - #882 has a pull request - #884 has a pull request with partial functionality - #882 is open Are there plans to complete #767 for 4.1 or do we leave it as it is and finish it up post-4.1? Am I correct in assuming #884 can be done by next weekend? I am planning to work on #862 next, and I think I can do #863 (not in 4.1) at the same time. I should have these done by Wednesday, or Thursday if things become particularly hectic. If I am to do #872 after #862/#863, I'm not sure I can have that done by the end of the week. Any volunteers, or should I work on #872 first (and possibly miss on #862/#863)? Of what's remaining: - Do we intend to do anything about #845 in 4.1? - #874 (not in 4.1) is just a decision that we need to make. Are we decided? - #880 should be a quick fix; should it be in 4.1?
