I will have some time in the evenings to do some more work for 4.2.
Looking at the open issues list, tagged for 4.2, we have:

#1087 - Scribus support - There's an unreviewed pull request #1090
addressing this

#1078 - Shift after mora with old bar spacing - I don't feel I'm the
best person to tackle this, but maybe with some hints?

#998 - High level mode styling - The requirements for this are not clear
and no one has volunteered to work with Élie's contacts at Solesmes. I
am willing to give this a shot, though I really don't know much about
mode styling and I really only understand English.

Under 5.0 (as candidates to pull into 4.2), we have:

#1079 - oriscus queue length - I believe I have enough information to
work on this.

#1029 - <clear> - I probably would need some help on the TeX side.

#1007 - clefs in additional top/bottom spaces - I can probably work on
this.

#959 - bar spacing at end of line - I don't feel I'm the best person to
tackle this, but maybe with some hints?

#931 - protrusion - I believe I have enough information to work on this.

#923 - inter-syllable stretching - I can probably work on this, but I
would still need to do some research in the code.

#922 - hyphen determination - I'm not the best person for this, but I
could probably figure it out from what's written in the issue.

#893 - Subline Text 3 - I can't work on this; I don't use that editor.

#844 - optional notes - I can work on this, but it's a big effort and is
probably best left in 5.0.

#674 - multi-staff polyphony - Do we really want to do this?

Alternately, if we are reaching feature-freeze (rc1) in 4.2, then I can
work on something in develop. In either case, can someone identify
priority?

Thanks,
Henry
