first, do not hesitate to send mails to the list, a lot of people may 
benefit from your questions, answers, tricks, etc.

Currently there are no such development plans, but if it's not too 
complicated, and as I'm working a lot on gregorio right now, I think I 
could develop it right now... the thing is I don't really know what 
you're talking about... can you scan examples of such "horizontal bars"?

Good idea, I'll implement a macro \nostafflines that would only do 
\coloredlines {0}{0}{0}! Maybe if I have time later I'll change it to 
something cleaner...
