Not directly; this is the complete list of gabc header fields
(http://home.gna.org/gregorio/gabc/#header). As you can see, almost
all of the fields create metadata about the score only, and do not
directly affect the printed score's appearance. But it is simple
enough to set left-aligned text in TeX - is there a reason you need it
done automatically through gabc info? I'm a little confused by what
you're describing, though – by itself, the "commentary:" field in the
gabc header doesn't automatically set any text either, so don't you
still have to use \commentary{words} in the main LaTeX file to set
right-aligned text anyway?
