You can underline text with <ul> </ul> tags in gabc - I don't know if it's
documented, but that feature does exist. There is no double underlining
built-in, but using the ulem package you might use something like
<v>\uuline{text}</v>(notes)
in your gabc (sorry, I'm not on a computer right now to check).

as an alternative to bold and italic for pointing psalm tones, as bold
