Hi all,

My friend and I are learning to use Gregorio, and we are TeX novices. So
far the gabc documentation has be very useful.

For an upcoming project, we are translating Gregorian chants into
Chinese for liturgical use. When trying to compile the final pdf,
however, the Chinese characters appear as hollow squares.

We are building upon the main-lualatex.tex from the GregogrioTeX
examples folder to call the gabc file with Chinese characters. My
Google-fu has been unhelpful as information seems to indicate that
LuaTeX supports Unicode naturally, and information regarding CJK stuff
all points towards XeLaTeX, which from examples seems to work rather
easily with Chinese characters.

So does Gregorio support Chinese characters? Or is this a configuration
problem with LuaLaTeX? Or it is possible to use Gregorio with XeLaTeX?

All the best,
Jonathan Yip
