Dear All,

I've spent too many hours fiddling with latex these past few days instead of
being about my prayer time, but I did manage to solve all my previous
difficulties by installing mactex and gregorio on an old macbook and kicking
the windows pc into the long grass. Go figure, the macbook installation
worked perfectly with scribus, which was wonderful.

After delving into 900_gregorio.xml and gregorio-scribus.lua, I'm still at a
loss as to why scribus won't play happily with gregorio on the windows
machine. Scribus produces the gregorio output pdf flawlessly in the temp
directory (once I'd included the luatextra package) but won't embed the pdf
into the document, displaying only the red cross. The only errors I can see
in the process are underfill hbox errors, but these aren't stopping the pdf
file being produced. Anyone have thoughts? It's not vital while I have the
old mac to hand, but the nerd in me is irritated by Windows' misbehaviour
:). Does Scribus perhaps not know where to find the produced pdf file under
Win7?

thanks again,
Sr.Clare
