Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a layout problem I'm having
with LaTeX and Gregorio. I am working on a hymnal for the Divine office, and
am using code likes \subsection{Ad Vesperas} to mark the various sections.
I'm using the titlesec package to control the spacing before and after the
headings, which in general is working well. However, sometimes too much
space is added between the title and the start of the score, as for example
in the attached pdf. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to deal with
this?Also, if anyone is interested in taking a glance at a draft of the volume, I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts and suggestions as regards the general layout. You can download it here: http://www.cl.ly/2q2s3X4016471U2v3c02 . If anyone would be interested in seeing the source files, I'd be happy to send them to you. Br. Innocent, op --- Here are my titlesec paramaters: \usepackage[compact]{titlesec} \titlespacing*{\chapter}{0pt}{*0}{*0} \titlespacing*{\section}{0pt}{*0}{*0} \titlespacing*{\subsection}{0pt}{*0}{*0} \titlespacing*{\subsubsection}{0pt}{*0}{*0} \titleformat{\chapter} {\normalfont\LARGE\sc\center}{\thechapter}{1em}{} \titleformat{\section} {\normalfont\Large\sc\center}{\thesection}{1em}{} \titleformat{\subsection} {\normalfont\large\sc\center}{\thesubsection}{1em}{} \titleformat{\subsubsection}{\normalfont\normalsize\sc}{\thesubsubsection}{1em}{}
