Perhaps someone can kindly help me install Gregorio successfully on an
Ubuntu 10.04 (x64) system. I followed the instructions on the Web page
(http://home.gna.org/gregorio/installation-linux) but could not complete
the installation.

First, I downloaded gregorio-2.0.tar.gz from the recommended site
(http://download.gna.org/gregorio/releases/current) and unzipped it by
right-clicking the file and selecting Extract Here.

Next, I executed this command: sudo aptitude install build-essential
flex bison libxml2 libxml2-dev docbook-to-man xsltproc autotools-dev
texlive-omega python automake libtool libltdl7-dev debhelper dpkg-dev
libglib2.0-dev docbook-xsl fakeroot. The command seemed to execute
successfully.

Finally, I executed this command: dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -d. The
result was the following error:

tail: cannot open `debian/changelog' for reading: No such file or
directory
dpkg-buildpackage: error: tail of debian/changelog gave error exit
status 1

This is as far as I was able to go.

I hope a solution exists for this issue and that someone can please help
me through it or at least suggest some resources that might help.

Many thanks.
