I don't know if it makes any difference, but, when I install
Gregorio in the first place, and leave the box checked for
"configure texworx", I get an error box, saying: "Unable to
execute file: texlua.exe"
However, using the commandline, I can create a pdf with the
chant bars and text - just no notes. (it still gives me
font problems. I tried using the updmap command, but it
didn't seem to help)

Okay, I made those two changes in gregoriotex.tex but now
it hangs here:
!Font \gregoriosymbolfont=gresym at 12pt not loadable:
metrick data not found or bad.
This seems like a complicated system! The directions on
the Gregorio page must be out of date, or they were never
completed - or the installation has changed without
accounting for something.
Anyway, I appreciate your help! I'd love to get this
working.

- modify the gregoriotex in the tex directory replacing
\luatexUseModule and
\luaUseModule to \RequireLuaModule
It helps in Mac OS X to avoid this error.

Okay, I ran the command again, this time as:
lualatex main-lualatex.tex
and now it gets hung here:
!undefined control sequence:
l.132 \greloadluamodule{gregoriotex}
and if I push enter, then it gets hung here, next:
! LaTeX Error: Missing \begin{document}
I am not new to programming, but I don't know what I'm
doing with this tex stuff, and it will take me a little
while to get it, I think.
