That'll be the mode in your gabc header. Br. Elijah fixed a bug that
was preventing it from transferring over automatically. The writemode
function makes use of the first annotation, but doesn't check to see if
it's occupied first. We need to fix that, but for now just comment out
the mode field in your gabc header.

initial: it seems that main .tex files can read and automatically
insert in the score something I didn't include with
