Well, the gabc code only exists in the editor window that goes with the render frame in Scribus. It doesn't get read from a file outside. On the Windows 8.1 installation at least, it's enough to put the code in the dialog in Scribus and let Scribus call Gregorio to work its magic. Maybe the XP one is trying to find a file somewhere nevertheless. Thanks Elie.
