Ah, that sounds nice and easy. After my initial post I tried to look at the localised versions of the nib in question and it appears it's not localised at all - IB claimed that the localised versions were corrupt or empty (except for the German version, which was just like the old English version.) Are these just stubs generated by iLocalize?
Also - I hadn't realised that Growl had moved to Mercurial - I committed a change to the SVN repo - I assume that that repo is now ignored? Perhaps it's worth disabling it.
