I've tried everything from unchecking the "enabled" checkbox for GrowlTunes in Growl.prefpane's registered applications list, to unchecking the enabled checkbox for GrowlTunes' individual notifications, to actually trashing GrowlTunes.app, and still when I play a new song in iTunes or change the rating of the currently- playing song, the GrowlTunes notification is triggered. Anyone have any suggestions?
