When I first did the initial installation, there were 3 applications
and one of them was hardwaregrowl (which what makes growl valuable),
but when I set that hardwaregrowl up thru the preference-pane,
hardwaregrowl was stuck on alerting me to alert on airport connection.
So I switch it back to hardware connection. But every-time I close the
growl preference, then clicked application tab, then clicked on
hardwaregrowl it goes back to airport connection. So I thought maybe I
needed to trow out the preference to growl that is in the preference
folder/Library folder/home folder. Then open the growl preference-pane
clicked on the applications tab and no applications was in the window.
I said to my self "growl has a remove button, Configure button, why
not a ADD button?" The whole thing is about hardwaregrowl. I want it
to alert me on hardware connections like when I plug in a USB card or
a SD card or when I plug in my camera, so on and so on. I uninstalled
and then re-installed and still nothing in the applications window.
Can you help. I have had a Mac since 1984 and very familiar with files
and folders and locations.
