So after using Applescript to send this notification, you find that not only is not displayed on the remote machine, but the remote machine no longer displays Growl notifications at all? Please use Activity Monitor to check if Growl Helper is still running on the remote machine. If so, try obtaining a Sample of it via the Process menu and sending it to us.
