If only the video is frozen (which your Console log seems to support), then you can use the dialog. Press enter to shut down, s to sleep, r to restart, or escape to cancel.
I suggest you change your menu-bar clock settings to include the seconds. Then you'll be able to pinpoint the exact moment in the log that corresponds to the video freeze.
