Dropbox and Adobe have both committed to updating their software to not
cause these problems, and once they update their software, we'll modify
things a bit to explain how things have changed. However, since there will
be people who have older versions, and people who purchase cs5 for the next
10 years, the notice will likely remain in some form for a very long time.

I'm happy to hear you're going to keep Growl around for a bit. So as an
example, here's what I use Growl for. When I upload something to an ftp, I
get a growl notification which is sticky. I also get a sticky notification
for downloads in Safari which take an extended amount of time. Lastly, I get
notifications whenever a message comes in through Adium, but it's a
background tab. Those are the 3 sole things I get notifications for, and I
typically turn everything else off.

However, different people use it in different ways, so you're likely to find
different ways you like using it.
