I've been a lurker on this list for quite a long time and have been
using Growl for years. (Even my mother-in-law loves it!) Thanks for
all of the great work! I only wish I had more time such that I could
help with development.

One thing which continues to bother me, however, is that if Growl
displays many notification windows all at once, they all remain on the
screen for the configured "duration" and thus end up disappearing
before I can read them all. It would be really great to have Growl
automatically extend the duration time (perhaps by 1.5 times) for each
notification which is being posted on a screen which already has
notifications posted.

For example, the first notification would have a duration of, say, 5
seconds. If another notification were posted during this same 5
seconds, it's duration would be 5 * 1.5 (2 would probably be too much)
= 7.5 seconds. If yet another notification were posted while the
first 2 were still on the screen, its duration would be 5 * 1.5 * 2 =
15 seconds.

Does this make sense? What do others think?
