Okay, this one baffled me for weeks. DropBox installed Growl, which was okay. Growl is cool enough.
My problem was that TypeIt4Me would open at Startup and make me click to Preference to NOT appear at startup. A few days later, after starting up in Windows from Bootcamp, when I started up in Mac again, TypeIt4Me would start appearing at startup again. It would appear off and on, but always after starting up in Windows. I can't really confirm that Growl caused it, but it hasn't happened since I removed Growl. I'm thinking about reinstalling, just for the live-dead-live check, but I kinda like that it s working right now. Don't want to upset the Mac again.
