TypeIt4Me is a classic Mac utility going back all the way to the Mac OS days. It lets you type in long strings of text by typing in short strings of text; it overwrites the abbreviation you type with the expansion you defined for it. Apple made it mostly obsolete in Snow Leopard, with the Text Substitutions functionality, though some TypeIt4Me users may stick to it for reasons of behavior differences or possibly some feature TypeIt4Me has that Snow Leopard doesn't have. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
