If it will warn that adding UUIDs to support a new OS update is
at one's own risk, then in principle (and since such code exists
elsewhere), it shouldn't be too difficult to enable it to,
with the user's permission, check whether they're running the
latest available version and warn them of that also if they aren't.

That would balance the possibility of otherwise having it enable
people to run "really old" versions.
