Peter, While I've experienced this issue, I am willing to help you test GrowlMail 1.2.4. Now I am unable to do any testing with GrowlMail because I have the newest version of Mail (with Message 4.4.1)
I was looking for the sources for Growl Mail and I couldn't find them. Are they publicly available?
